Kissing Juveniles

Kissing behind sacred walls
Memories of bathroom stalls
Low lit halls and partially done showers
We frequented these escapades when we were young
Sneaking kisses, back rubs, sharing secrets in the dark
Hiding our well lit love in pure sight
We were a force to be reckoned
Equally jaded, yet thirsting for one another
Juvenile love...
Holding hands in back seats
Kissing under the moon
We've met so many times in darkness
That our hands had night vision
Seamlessly paving the way around each other's waists
We kept it PG
Discussed marriage and possibilities
While causing cracks in our foundation
Allowing outsiders to dictate the rules we should follow
Letting them play tug-a-war with our arms
We fought to stay together
But emotionally never won
I was too consumed of what seemed too good to be true
And you, too afraid to admit your pain
So we fell apart as quickly as we fell together

Untitled

Blood stained hands
And a belief system
Centered around self-adoration and praise
“Give thanks to me and I’ll set you free”
That’s how you get them

Manipulating your followers
Into supporting your twisted vices
Molesting the youth
With your power
While dangling God from your tongue
The main one’s to look out for are those like you

Seducing congregation’s thought-lives
With your rituals
Fondling with their earnings
Only to satisfy the protection of your secrets

For your private demonstrations
Are nothing but means “to get off”
You ask them…
“show me how you did it…”
“show me how you do it…”
And all is forgiven
All the while fondling innocence
Behind smoke & mirrors
And scented incense
Your tracks are camouflaged
And your lies are sealed…

Even if anyone was to come forth
I wonder how many would see
The light again…

Cupid

She aims to kill
With weapons of mass destruction
She's a steady shooter with perfect aim
Hearts line up just to be shot down
Drives the crowd insane
When they watch her

Elbow angled and feet apart
And off another arrow goes
Into another chest
Crashing threw the the rib cage
Directly into the heart

And she speaks
For the first time
She says
Because this person does not die
But rips the arrow out
"Is it you?"
She asks
The person answers back
"If you have to ask..."
And walks away

She picked up her arrow again
Used all of her might
Knocked down the person that walked away
And said "It's you..."
And the person answered back "it's always been me"

For the first time
She realized
The potency of her weapons
Were no match
When it
Came to them
Her defenses were defenseless
Finally she, was open to receive...

Musings

I admitted to boredom
And then she wept
I asked why
And
She reminded me
Beat by beat
That I never
Used to be able
To experience boredom

She reminded me
That I’ve grown silent
My words now evaporate like snow in humidity
Like ice melts on summer day…
Almost nonexistent

In hopes to rehabilitate
And awaken me…

SHE
Grabbed a pen
And told me to write
And in that moment
I remembered why…
Her love could close wounds
Open doors
Awaken souls
And drive away evil forces…
I remembered why her touch was of God
Her stamina out of this world…

She’s the Cause & the Cure
Funny how she can see into ME
Yet within herself… She’s baffled by that lack of recognition…

We all NEED that LOVE
That can see all of YOU
To help you REBUILD

(I’m searching for a way to wrap this up… To Be Continued, at least I started)

Bleeding Heart

I heard what your lips were saying
But your eyes spoke louder
Screaming eyes
Shouting at the top of their lungs
Forcing me to see
Beyond the words
The samples
The stories

It was your eyes that told the truth
The pain within was deeper than mere flesh
For these stabs
Had dug so deep that your heart was bleeding
Spilling out of your eyes like rain drops

I'm listening
I can hear you
Never have you been this vulnerable
Letting me in and undressing your love
Removing guards only for a moment
I could see you
The person hiding behind the love for others
The care of tending to others needs
I saw your bleeding heart exposed

How ignorant I must have been
To not see all of this before
But how was I supposed to know
Never did you let me this close
And as soon as I took notice
The walls were rebuilt
Thicker than street pavement
Placed behind barbed wire
And a crooked smile...

If only you'd lend me your eyes again
And we could work on your smile again
Not the one on your face
But the one in your heart
Reassemble the broken pieces
And restore you from the ruins...

If only...
If only...

I could see you again

Social Network

Naked and abused
Going nowhere fast
A picture a day
Giving Instagram your last
Signing your soul away
For pay per day
Shaking your assets
For dividends
Calling everyone your best friend
Every "like" makes you feel closer
But just not close enough
And no one
Quite knows
What you're searching for
Commenting on your beauty
Even when your smile is broken
Your eyes are puffy
And your face is red
But just a few filters deep
And there you find it
Buried deep
Deeper than you ever imagined
Your self esteem
Lost in a hopeless upload
Searching for love and acceptance
Hoping everyday
That maybe...
...just maybe
This virtual world
Will unfold
Birth tangible lovers
Dangle them from strings
Allowing you to pick them off as you please
Yet the day never comes
And more clothes come off
With every upload

Queen (To Be Continued)

I can't say why your eyes pierce into my soul
Or why my heart flutters when you speak
Even if my words don't marry my actions
My inner being is easily excited by your presence

I may not love the way I anger you
Or how sad I've seen you get
But the smile and gazes you give
I can't fathom a Queen more radiant

No one has ever held my attention the way you have
Even glancing at others is a bore
To stare at you
Or feel your touch
Takes me to highs I can't explain

(to be continued)
